Voice over what? Virtualization on clouds? None of the above. It’s “voice of the customer” programs designed to distill knowledge of brands and customer feedback from structured and unstructured content, social and traditional media sites, etc. I backed into the space and almost hurt myself while investigating ResponseTek’s Media Aggregator.
Media Aggregator taps into news and social media sources to implement, in their words, “customer experience management.” CEM isn’t something you need to unload on your local server in an epic fashion. ResponseTek is an application service provider. Remember those guys? For those of you who don’t, it’s software as a service today.
As a Saas tool, Media Aggregator is Web-hosting, reporting software that can work for marketers and just about anyone that needs to analyze client or customer experience. The IP department can monitor brands and trademarks, M&A can hawk the scoop on targets and the competition, and litigators can gain insight on how the world views their clients or opponents.
Search, as the killer Internet application, is starting to be part of the Internet plumbing. The hard part is data analysis and reporting something useful out of the morass. To check out Media Aggregator for your use, ResponseTek has a 14-day trial. If you check it out, don’t hesitate to give me a mini-review right here.
